Healthy diet, the key to a healthy life:
Dieting as
we know is not a fun process. It involves giving up on yummy
chocolates, cheese burst pizzas and all of the best junk food
available in the world. All the ladies want to have a body like those
of Victoria’s Secret models and men want to have the famous, ‘6
packs’ along with good amount of muscles. But how can we punish
our taste buds for these? Well, we give you another diet plan that
might make you look like the models you want, but with a pinch of
cheating.
1. All kinds
of food items have one form of benefit or the other. Eating a wide
variety of food in required amount, will help.
2. Start
your day with a glass of warm water with honey and lemon juice. This
will burn the fat in the body.

Breakfast is a very essential part of diet. Researchers prove that
those who eat breakfast are leaner than those you skip it.
4. The trick
is to eat plant originated food items like beans and leafy veggies.
Eat 2 ½ cups of vegetables and 2 cups of fruit a day. Vivid the
color, more enjoyable the food will get. Try to include fruits and
vegetables of the color oranges, red, blue, purple and yellow as
certain nutrients in these will help fight against cancer.
5. Add a
juice along with your breakfast; say orange juice or some fresh
juice. This will keep your body hydrated.
6. For
brunch, try to include whole grains such as whole wheat, barley and
oats. This contains nutrients to make you stronger and fitter.
7. As lunch
is where you eat maximum food, make sure it contains all kind of
foods, varying from whole grains, proteins, vegetables and fruits and
diary in the right amount. Diets are not as boring as we assume. We
can make it fun by eating your favorite dish made of healthier
recipes. We can eat ragi dosa instead of the normal dosa, for
example.
8. A cup of
rice or 3 chapattis should do for a perfect lunch for dieters.
Otherwise a sandwich with a cup of veggies and some protein rich food
like fish or soya will do the wonder.
9. Evenings
can be enjoyed with some coffee or tea along with few low-cal
biscuits and finish dinner with salad or a couple of rotis.
You are
allowed to have a cheat day every weekend when you can indulge
anything that makes you happy! Forget the calories, please your
tummy.
