Is being good still a way of life?

What do you think? Is bad the new black? Is it cool to be bad? Well, that is the misconception many of us in this world hold.  We have evolved to become something that was not supposed to be this way. Something went wrong. Well, what was it?

Remember how we used to be God fearing and believed that doing wrong things will come back to us? It is unfortunate that we don’t believe in such moral values anymore. There are a lot of crimes and brutal activities going on in this world. But it is not correct to generalize that the entire world is the same and to judge that the world is cruel. Well, look at yourself. Are you cruel? Would you watch a child fall down and walk away without helping him up? Talk to yourself, talk to your consciousness. You wouldn’t, that makes one good person. Well then imagine how many others in this world would stop to pick up a fallen child or drop a person to the hospital in case of an emergency, if nothing, let a person borrow your food.  There is good in the world, but the real ones do not consider showing off about how good they are.

Many instances would have happened in our life, which have shaped our persona. The bad experiences make us more stone hearted. The good ones also make an impression on us, but they don’t last long many times. But remember, its only goodness that runs this world. All good things do come to an end, but it has the power to regenerate itself, years after years, generation after generation. Being kind and gentle does not make anyone weak. In fact, it takes a lot of strength to be so.

Let the world be. You be the change you want to see in others. Help people in little things, if not in a big way. Your soul will thank you. We were born to spread love and happiness. This world consisting of greed, grudge, lust and barbarism also shares its space with love, happiness and survival.


It is high time we save what is left because an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind!
