The Unfathomed Northern India:
India is one of those
countries blessed with the bounty of nature. The country has
witnessed an affluent history and has been known for its beautiful
culture. The north Indian region includes some the exquisite states
and cities like Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Chandigarh,
Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. This region has a diverse culture
and is an abode to beauty and nature. North India also has many
UNESCO world heritage sites like Ajanta Caves, Red fort, Fathepur
Sikri, National Parks, Leh, Sanchi Stupa, Bodh Gaya and many more to
its credit.
The northern region of
the Indian subcontinent is known for its primordial culture and
history. The North Indian region is a great tourist attraction and
homes Vindhya mountain range, Aravalli range and Thar Desert.Every
place differs in its own glaze and its own way of life. No wonder
India is called as “Amalgamation of Several Cultures”.
The north Indian region
is a vast region; it surely has some world famous monuments like Taj
Mahal, Qutub Minar, Red fort, Jantar Mantar and many more which are
visited by people from India and all over the world but there are so
many places in this region that most people are unaware of and need
to be explored, here are few:
- Khajjiar is located in the lap of Himalayas and resembles Swiss; it is a beautiful hill station famous for beautiful flowers.
- Valley of Flowers is located in Uttarakhand which has some wildest species of flowers.
- Varanasi located in Uttar Pradesh is a sacred Hindu spot where several rituals are performed each year, which makes it a calm and mystic place.
- Desert of Jaisalmer is located in Rajasthan has its own unique beauty. The popular camel safaris provide an essence of rustic desert life.
- Nuranang Falls has a pristine atmosphere and is located in Arunanchal Pradesh at a height of 100 metres.
- Tsomoriri Lake located in Ladakh is a water jewel in India and is home many exotic species of animals and birds. It’s a beautiful serene lake.
There is lot more to be
explored in north India, the beauty is just out of this world!
