The weather outside might be awesome but it has some adverse effects on your hair. Hair becomes brittle and dry; the moisture causes fungal infection in the scalp. Here are a few tips to keep your hair healthy in monsoon:
  1. Shampoo every day and also use conditioners. Gently massage the scalp with shampoo. It will keep the scalp clean.
  2. Hair becomes brittle, dry and fizzy. Oil massage reduces this and hair becomes smooth. Oil massage is suggested.
  3. Drink loads of water. Water removes toxins from your body and prevents the risk of fungal infection.
  4. Avoid junk food and consume nutritious food like beans, sprouts, eggs.
  5. Excessive caffeine may lead to dehydration and increase hair fall. Hence consumption of beverages like herbal tea, milk is suggested.
  6. Hair dryers’ use and hair coloring must be restricted in monsoon.
  7. Beer can act as a good conditioner; wash your hair with beer.
