A gripping game with people from all over the world including the participating countries like India, Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand etc.,  supporting their teams and praying for their victory. 1) The opening ceremonies of the world cup 2015 were held in two different venues i.e. Christchurch’s North Hagley Park in New Zealand and the other in Melbourne in Australia.
2) This time the Afghanistan team will make their debut, having played three T-20 world cups before.
3) The fielding restrictions have been altered where there will be 4-5 fielders outside 30 yard circle and there will be two blocks of power play.
4) New Zealand will host one quarter final in Wellington and one semifinal in Auckland.
5) The total prize money has been increased by 25%. The prize amount has been raised from the earlier amount of  8millionUS$ to 10million US$
6) Some major strict restrictions against Chucking have been taken by ICC and some important bowlers have been absent from the squad.
7) There are over 1 billion anticipated viewers.
8) The final will be held in MCG which will be the second venue after Lord’s Cricket Ground to host more than two Finals.
9) Many biggies like Sachin Tendulkar, Jacque Kallis, Graeme Smith, Kevin Peterson, VirendarShewag, etc. will not be seen in this World Cup.
10) Also many famous cricketers like MisbahulHaq, ShahidAfridi, Kumar Sangakara, T Dilshan, and Michael Clarke etc. are playing their last world.
