Lead the Way – Go Eco-friendly:

With changing lifestyle and work pressure, people have become too busy in their day to day lives. The industry sector is booming through construction of buildings and skyscrapers due to which the greenery is decreasing. Mother Nature is getting degraded due to deforestation, polluted rivers, air pollution, so on and so forth.

Due to the harmful effects of pollution, the people are suffering from chronic diseases such as asthma, lung cancer, heart diseases, affecting pregnant mothers such as preterm birth and so on. You can lead an eco-friendly life by switching on to the following rules –
  1. Grow your own garden - You can have a small garden by planting vegetables, which is healthy as it is free from insecticides and pesticides.

  2. Use cloth bags while going to the grocery store instead of using plastic bags.

  3. Recycle waste or used paper – The used papers can be used for recycling by selling it.

  4. Use energy-efficient appliances and get rid of toxic chemicals which are harmful for the environment.

  5. Consume less meat – The more people consume meat, the more land is used for rearing of animals.

  6. Bicycles, electric cars and car pooling can be made major modes of transportation.
The best way to become environment friendly is to use eco-friendly cars which emit less carbon than to use cars which run on diesel and pollute the environment. Green vehicles are powered by alternative fuels such as natural gas, battery driven cars, hybrid-electric vehicles, is the most cost effective way to improve energy efficiency and cut down on pollution. The government has implemented a lot of policies to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles.

So, if your day to day actions are more eco-friendly you not only help the environment but also you can benefit financially and physically.
