Hey New Mom! Stay in Style :
New moms usually tend to
lose themselves in the endless chores of motherhood and give very
less or no time for self grooming. This often leads to a sense of low
esteem and the new mom starts to feel that she is losing something
she had not bargained for.
But remember, it is
possible to stay in style and be well groomed despite having very
less time for pampering yourselves. Being clean and neat along with
a style goes a long way in giving you confidence and enhances your
personality.
Here are some simple
guidelines (you may call that) which are very easy to follow and the
new mom is ready to rock the world along with her baby !
1. Maintain a hairstyle
which is less fussy and more classy. Try to tie your hair into a
simple ponytail so that running around your work will be easy.
2. Don’t do for high
heels or stilettos as this is damaging for your body especially when
you are a new mom. Go for smart flat shoes. Not only you but your
baby will also be safe when you are taking him/her out.
3. Since motherhood
increases the width of your waist and hip area, go for A-line dresses
as they give a free flow to your body and gives you a better body
shape.
4. If you don’t have
time for even simple pedicure and manicure, cut your nails regularly
(keep them short as long nails tend to hurt your baby)
5. Follow a simple beauty
regime if not a lengthy one. Keep yourself clean and at least
moisturize every day.
6. Accessorize rightly.
Don’t wear too heavy clothes and don’t go for too many layers.
This will leave you feeling very heavy along with your baby making
you unnecessarily tired.
7. Pick up a nice
oversized tote bag with many compartments to carry yours as well as
your baby’s things.
8. Always keep 3-4
dresses ready, which are clean and neatly pressed. This will save you
time when you are in a hurry and you will bless yourself!
9. Be minimalistic and
wear your confidence. Don’t go for very jazzy and shimmer fashion.
10. Needless to say,
maintain a healthy diet and do find time to meditate for at least 10
minutes in a day. This will leave you feeling more
oriented and will keep you calm.
