We spend most of the time in the cubical shell working among people from different cultures. Working is a great relaxation apart from the joy we get from earning a salary. It’s a different bond that we share in the workspace. We work as a team understanding the needs and requirements of a particular project or assignment. We exchange ideas and thoughts; make things happen and enjoy the results. 

Do you realize that we often neglect the importance of bonding and interactions in the workspace? Workspace kills the boredom, and the pain life gets us into. Unknowingly one forgets about the issues concerning with his family or his troubled thoughts. The 7-8 hours at work is sheer fun achieving targets and small goals on a daily basis. Credit for good work: A work well completed sure needs applause. Appreciate your employee in front of the team. He feels cheered and assured that hard work is respected and also the rest who are watching him will get into a competitive spirit.


Oblige for leave: Grant them leave when they are in dire circumstances as you know that he /she is not lethargic in their work. This acts as a reminder to them, and they perceive you as an understanding person and will not take undue advantage of you. 

Personal lives: We don’t have to get personal in the real sense. If you notice that your colleague is upset and troubled, you can help him out by talking about it and letting his frustration out. This creates a trust and boosts one’s morale. Colleagues are great friends to be. Share a good relation with them.

Welcoming cubicle: Keep your cubicle pleasing that ticks happiness and excitement on every day. Also, make sure that you still adhere to the company policy. Certain small things imbibe high energy, See who you are and hang it there in your cubicle. It serves as a great motivation for the start of the day.

The tea breaks: The tea breaks are stress busters. Hang out with your colleagues and gossip about movies, politics, etc. It will easily revive you for the next few hours. It helps you focus and keeps you going.

Team outings: Take your team out for a nice place and celebrate the results of a successful venture at work. Point out each’s contribution and thereby how it led to team work. They will work even better for your next venture. 

All these are simple yet very essential things that one has to adapt in his workspace if he has to get quality results irrespective of he being a team lead or an employee. It ensures a healthy working space and improves the productivity of a company.
