Shouting, slamming doors, throwing things and scaring others are signs of aggressive behavior. These may abridge your stature before others.

  9. Seek others opinions
  10. They are collaborative and good listeners
If not all but some of the above traits are cultivated, a person can definitely change into a positive and assertive person with a healthy ego.

All in all, assertion is a great attribute in a human being. It doesn’t come to all of us, but those who have it lead an easier and good life. In life, many situations arise where our temperament is tested. That’s when we need to play the assertive card not the aggressive one. At the work place, aggressive behavior can cause complications, answering your boss surely does require skills, assertive ones! An answer must have a diplomatic touch in it.
