Pearls are a must in women’s accessories. They add a touch of elegance to the outfit you wear. These days the pearls that most us wear are cultured pearls. However, even cultured pearls have to be taken care of.

Here are a few tips to take care of your precious pearls.
  • Always wear your pearls at the end after you have finished with your make up and perfume.
  • Never apply body lotions or creams with your pearls on.
  • Pearls get dirty too. Remove them and clean them with lint free dampened cloth and leave it to dry.
  • You could use mild soap solution as well.
  • Never use abrasive cleaners or abrasive cloth to clean the pearls.
  • Do not store pearls with other precious stones; rather, store them in soft bag.
