Fashion to Beat the Blues..
Fashion and women
go hand in hand. However, most of the times women in their enthusiasm to look
their best end up doing fashion blunders either by over doing with accessories
or while mixing and matching accessories with their outfit.
Here are a few
handy tips to help you to accessorize yourself better.
Make a head-start:
Go with a single
statement piece if you are having fun with your clothes. Keep it simple with
just a bracelet or few rings layered. If you are going on a night out or a
cocktail party, pick up some really loud pair of earrings or dangle earrings and
make sure to have only that. Loud earnings and statement neck pieces together
will definitely make you look ‘awkward’.
If you are going dark, then brighten up with some neon colored day bags
or nude coloured clutches. On business tours, try to be as simple as possible by
just having a pendant.
Accessories & You:
- · For V-necks, dainty chains and small dangle earrings or studs will go well.
- · With a Turtle neck or polo neck keep it simple with long stranded opera chains.
- · A scoop or any U-cut tops, make sure you accessorize with heavy and loud statement neckpieces depending on the occasion.
- · Button up the shirt all the way and then accessorize it with a bib-style neckpiece.
- · For asimple crew neck,a bold collaradds up like a built-in-addition to your fashion statement.
- · Wearing a blazer tonight? Don’t forget to accessorize yourself with a long lariat or even with a pendant.
Handbag & Footwear:
Always make sure
to match your handbag and footwear together i.e. a clog and tote bag with a semi-formal
dress would go well. Pumps with envelope clutch will be perfect for dinners. Peep
toes and envelope bags should do for a girl’s day out. Also, it’s the season
for messenger bags; pairing them up with gladiator sandals and ballerinas is
perfect for casuals or college.
Do not
over-accessorize or under-accessorize yourself. Pick up cues from the
prevailing fashion but add your personal touch to it and make it your style
statement.
…because fashion fades while style
stays.
