The latest to join the club is the art of paper quilting. Quilting is the art of stitching together layers of certain fabric to make it thick or padded. Paper quilting is the process of quilting of paper materials to form mattresses and quilts.

Jewelry made of paper is also sold as a funky accessory in places like Brigade Road and Commercial Street in Bangalore. Housewives who are good at the form of art are becoming entrepreneurs with their skills by publishing their work online and opening centers to teach such form of art. Another famous trend is designing paper bags and giving it a dash of fashion by making it look bright or funky.

This way, crafts have made itself to the top of many people’s priority and passion list.
