Think Before You Ink! - Things we must know before getting a tattoo done


‘Tattoos’ are one of the new ways of showing people one’s coolness quotient. Well, at least that’s what most people think. Only, a few manage to give importance to the deeper meaning in it. Unfortunately, not everything turns out the way we want it to. We have seen people who have regretted their tattoo choices.

The Hygiene :
Yes, we do commit mistakes, but mistakes with tattoos could ruin everything. There are instances where people who have tried removing tattoos have ended up with ugly boils and rashes on the skin. Another important point to take note of, is regarding the needle used for the tattoo making. Make sure to check the hygienic qualities of your tattoo artist who could end up giving you dreadful infections too! Know your tolerance to pain. If you wouldn’t like it, you don’t have to do it. 

Better Safe than Sorry:
Tattoos die with you. Think as many times as you want before getting the tattoo done. We know the pathetic conditions of people who have had their ex’s name tattooed on their hands. Reassure you spell it right, in case of a name or one liner. Do not panic on looking at the needle as it might make it worse for you. Do not get tattoos from cheap stores without good, hygienic tools.

Plan it. Do it:
Sun exposure and water submersions are not great ideas immediately after tattooing. In case you do, irritating burns and rashes will surely be your uninvited guests. Plan ahead your routine you will have to follow after the tattooing.Baths must be taken in such a way that the water does not come in contact with the tattoo, at least for a week.

You only live once. YOLO! :
Your tattoo will definitely be the talk of the town for a while. Do not care. If it makes you happy, go for it. People will talk. Tattoos are not what will make you cool. Do it if that is what you want to do. Make sure to know about it before getting into it.If you have gone through the checklist and ready to bear it all with a smile on your face, ink on!
