The most awaited, the biggest film of the decade is all set to release! Kabali, Rajinikanth’s starrer film will be screened across more than 4000 screens in Tamil nadu and worldwide. While superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali gears up for release, employers in the city have fallen to the star’s mesmerizing charm and declared a holiday on 22nd of July, the release date of the movie with huge number of leave requests to watch it.
One of the Asia’s highest paid actors, Rajinikanth is considered one of the most bankable stars in India. Surely, Kabali is going to have a gargantuan opening worldwide and it is like nothing we seen so far. Kabali, a gangster drama, is directed by Pa Ranjith also starring Radhika Apte. The movie will also be released in Telgu, Hindi and Malay dubbed versions. Countries like Malaysia and Singapore are screening the first shows at least 12-14 hours before the first show in Tamil Nadu.
Many multinational companies are piling pressure on multiplexes to open corporate bookings for the opening weekend. As the excitement over the movie builds; corporate India has jumped onto Rajini brand. From an aircraft painted with kabali to silver coins with his image on it, corporations are going all out to cash in on the Thalaivar mania.

Eight major brands have tied up so far with the most awaited film; AirAsia, Airtel, Cadbury 5 star, Muthoot Fincorp, Amazon, Emami, Shop CJ, and PVR cinema.
Malaysia’s AirAsia has dedicated A320 aircraft to Rajini. The aircraft is painted with the picture of the star and flies over 10 destinations covering Bangalore, Goa and New Delhi.
Muthoot Fincorp will be marketing silver coins in various denominations with superstar Rajinikanth’s image embossed on it.
English channels are giving more air-time to kabali offering daily half-hour slot for Kabali related programmes.
You can already buy the T-shirt and other clothing with the star’s image on it available for few hundred rupees while the wait for the movie still continues.
Five star hotels hope to screen the film for well-heeled fans at a hefty price of Rs 1300 and it’s sold out for first two days, screening nine shows over a period of two days.
Delhi telecom, Bharti Airtel is offering unlimited 2G internet with its new Kabali recharge pack and branded sim packs. An sms hotline has been created where fans can send their wishes to Rajini. These messages along with names will be complied into a coffee table book and gifted to the actor later.
