The picturesque view of the lush green hills with the setting sun in the backdrop makes your evening experience no less than heavenly. Karnataka is home to some really great view points which one could enjoy watching.

The Raja’s seat in Coorg or the Z point in Kemmanagundi, to name a few, is places where nature’s drama is an ever-romancing affair of sun with the lush green and tranquil hills around. Tourists flock to these places and are a witness to the nature’s unfolding colours that leaves everyone mesmerised and spellbound.

1.   Raja’ Seat (Coorg): Surrounded by high and low-rise hills, Raja’s Seat is a garden with flowers and fountains. The beautiful sunset and the musical fountains are indeed a visual treat to the visitors.

2.   Agumbe (Shimoga): The sunset point is located on the highest hills of the Western Ghats and makes this place a must visit tourist destination in Karnataka.

3.   Z Point (Kemmanagundi): This view point is accessible by trekking from Raj Bhavan. If the sunrise is magical at Z point, the sunset is spectacular at Raj Bhavan.

4.  Sykes Point (Dandeli): Named after a British engineer who discovered it, this place makes a beautiful view point for sunset.

5.  Ottinane (Maravanthe): the sunset is no less than magical over here. Covered with thick green forest and wild flowers, this place is a must visit during monsoon.
