Since the invention of bikes, they have been evolving in every form to suit the environment and to work with our suitability. Some famous bike makers have added some great features that have raised the bar of bikes in comparison to other modes of transport. In the recent decade the art of biking has witnessed a new veer. Some are:
  • The BMW superbike S1000RR has been revised with 300 horse power engine and has shred 4 kilograms creating a new identity to bikes.

  • Introduction of electric bikes has supported the green initiative. The American maker Harley Davidson launched its first electric bike, which will be the fastest production line.

  • With new ideas safe riding is also important, the KTM motors launched the Super adventure which became the world’s safest bike due to some features like Cruise control, ABS system, Semi active suspension and many more.

MakaraSankranti is the festival that every Hindu, regardless of the caste, creed or gender celebrates with joy. It is a harvest festival. As the granaries are full, it signifies prosperity. Sugarcanes are one of the most important and symbolic food crop of this festival. The festival of welcoming harvest and soliciting winter is usually celebrated in the month of January.
