India – where
women have been given the supreme position of that of mother is also a country
where women have been subjected to atrocities for centuries. On one hand, where
women are worshipped in the form of ‘Shakthi’, on the other hand they are
subjected to the harassment of dowry, society, male
counterparts etc.
Despite all the
oddities, some women have indeed made their presence felt, achieved stupendous
success and are really a great inspiration for generations to come.
