• Do not accept drinks from strangers
• Ensure you have a safe and reliable company to drop you back home
• Or, if you have booked for a cab service, ensure you inform the vehicle number to any trusted person
• If need be, carry a pepper-spray

Last but not the least, in case you have booked an accommodation at the hotel, ensure you reach the right room.
